Neeraj Arora’s practice focuses on the representation of sponsors and financial institutions in a broad array of project development and finance transactions, including single-asset and multiasset nonrecourse project financings. He has been involved with the project development and/or financing of a broad range of large energy infrastructure assets, including conventional (gas and coal) and renewable (energy storage, solar, wind, biomass, and geothermal) power generation projects, transmission lines, and pipelines. Neeraj currently serves as a co-leader of Morgan Lewis’s global energy industry team.
Neeraj has experience in energy storage projects, including his work on one of the largest lithium-ion battery projects in the world. Neeraj advises clients on the acquisition and disposition of projects, off-take agreements and the operation and management of projects. He also has experience negotiating power purchase agreements, for which he has negotiated both on the utility and developer side for a number of significant projects with an aggregate value in excess of US $3 billion.
